Sensation and Inspiration

Do you ever find yourself inspired/influenced to incorporate unexpected things you love in to your style? I do. I love incorporating fashion elements from ballet into my life. It makes life feel even more beautiful.

  1. Ahh no ballet for me. When I was 8 my ballet teacher told me I was too fat to do ballet. Scared for life!

  2. OMG that is so awful! I'm a rebel though and I don't care how big I get. I can't help but love things like wrap sweaters like dancers wear to warm up, sheer pieces incorporated into an outfit, ballet flats, or ballerina hairstyles. It's all so very romantic and dreamy.

  5. Well I do wear a ballerina bun almost everyday, but I try not to associate it with ballet. Ballerinas are evil creatures from where I stand!

  10. It totally is a great contrast. I can't help but wonder how in the heck she got up there in those pointe shoes?! That's got to be it's own kind of magic trick.

  14. I love this. Ballerinas are an obsession for me. They are so graceful, even at the college I went to, that had a big dance program. It's such a beautiful art that the dancer carries within themselves. You can always tell if someone was a ballerina.
