Busy Beavers Inc.

Mighty Duck Tour Amphibious vehicle

I've been super busy ever since school let out. We opened up the week doing one of these London Amphibious Adventure tours. It was crazy packed so if you're thinking of taking one, try booking in advance and arrive 15-30 mins early so that your party can all sit together. The best part of the tour for me was when we hit
the water!

This tour is constantly moving and packs in a lot of info super quick. We even got to see MI-5 and
MI-6!

We packed in some other activities around our Mighty Duck Tour like letting the kids play in the Jubilee Gardens Park. Essentially someone had the genius idea of building an obstacle course out of giant pick-up sticks and rope. (At least that's what it looked like to me.)

The kids loved it and played for donkey's years on it. They would've kept going if we hadn't had to leave.

And along the river front were street performers that sort of blew our minds.

Seriously, I have no idea how that guy is just floating above the other one's head. Neither of them was shaking or looked to be making any effort at all to hold this pose.

All-in-all a very good day of entertainment and fun for the whole family. If you've got any great budget tips for entertaining the kids this summer, I'd love to hear them!

This isn't a sponsored post. It was just a good fun way to see some of London with young kids who couldn't do all that walking.

  2. That looks like so much fun for kids and grown ups. I see these buses in Dublin all the time but never went on the tour. Must go soon.:)

  3. I've heard of those amphibious tours before, but don't know where they have them around me. They look super cool, though. I just want to be in a vehicle that drives in a lake really, I don't even need a tour.

  5. Donkey's years = a very long time. There's more to it if you'd like to take a peak here: http://www.phrases.org.uk/meanings/donkeys-years.html

  6. Seriously that was so much fun. I think I must be a bit of an adrenaline junky because those things ride so incredibly low in the water it's a tiny bit terrifying but I thought it was super awesome anyways. :D

  9. That is so cool. I've never been on one of those tour bus/boat. I would LOVE to try it! I'm glad that you are doing more "touristy" things in London. I think you are the only UK person I know that hasn't complained about the Olympics yet.

I wonder how that guy is being held up too. So cool. There must be some kind of platform or something! I know in Korea, they have street performers that levitate. I haven't seen it, only read about it on other blogs.

  11. Whoa...hopefully I can reach some sort of status where I can float above your head. In other news, that seems like a really cool day and a fun little tour. I really need to get myself over to the other side of the pond.
