Bring on the Spring

Cruising the magazine racks at my local grocery store is a highlight for me while doing the necessary food shopping for the week. I stumbled on these two magazines covering spring/summer 2012 collections, trends, and new fashion happenings. I was immediately drawn in by the pastels just like I was here. Have you guys seen these yet? Have any of you gotten one?

  1. I don't usually get the collection editions cause they're pretty much the same as the season supplements that you get with the February/September issues. I mean, if I were rich I would, but since I'm not, I keep to basics.
I just got Vogue and Elle today and I'm super excited to see what's inside!

  2. That's exactly the kind of info I was wondering! I'm wondering what the angle is with them? How do they differentiate themselves from the supplements? Glad someone else has checked them out!

  7. I've got olive skin so pastels in general aren't the best. I think the one I come closest to being able to carry off is a light blue. I have wondered about pairing it with navy though. Perhaps one of my navy tops and a light blue skirt or maybe just a print with the light blue in it. What do you think?

  8. I'm so relieved to see I'm not the only one. I think my minimalist nature has come back around and bitten me in the behind. Normally, I'm not a fan of pastels but some of these spreads are really suckering me in. They really know what they're doing marketing wise don't they?
