Holy Freakin' Yum Y'all

I found myself in Poole the other day having an AH-may-ZING lunch at R's Kitchen

Mushroom and holloumi on brioche with a gravy that will blow your mind. I have a slight addiction problem when it coms to mushroom and holloumi. If it's on the menu, I have to try it. This one at R's Kitchen is right up at the top of the charts for me.

Apple cake with fresh cream. I couldn't have asked for a better way to cap off this lunch.

I would happily recommend this place for anyone that finds themselves in the Poole area. Have any of you tried any tasty mushroom and halloumi dishes lately? If so, spill the beans!

  1. I've never even heard of halloumi, I had to google it! I do love mushrooms in on and around foodstuffs, though. I just had a tasty panzanella salad with roasted mushrooms on it.

  2. I had totes never heard of halloumi either till I moved here!! Sadly, I've fallen in love and am addicted to it even though cheese isn't so good for me. Mushrooms are amazing lovely things. They are way under-rated as they do soooo much for us. I eat them as often as I can. A panzanella salad sounds AMAZING right now.

  5. Hello, my dear Rachel. I'm sorry for my absence. Maybe I arrived in a bad time, because now I'm hungry, after this post. When I say that I'd love to be there I means that I REALLY WOULD LOVE TO BE THERE AND TARTE THIS GOOD FOOD! How have you been? I'm pretty tired, but ok!

    Have a lovely sunday,
    Cris.
