Someone once commented on how often I compare things to each other. I realized they're right. It's what I like to call "cherry picking".
I like to find the best of the best and I'm always on the hunt. This time, I stumbled upon the Boathouse.
The Boathouse has just become one of my top fave breakfast places because of their NYC meal. I don't know exactly why they call pancakes, bacon and poached eggs the NYC but it works for me. It's a taste of home for this American ex-pat and it really hits the spot at a reasonable price. Their lunch and bar food menus also manage to be creatively tasty and affordable. To top it all off you can enjoy your meal while overlooking beautiful Christchurch Quay right next to Christchurch Priory. For more information about the Boathouse make sure to check them out here.

We'll play "Never Have I Ever..." and I'll start. Never have I ever had poached eggs. They look tasty, though! Lately I have been eating a lot of soup. I'm not sure why as it's still summer and quite hot out, but tomato soup it's been!

Of course, I don't eat bacon anymore, but the rest of this meal looks SO YUMMY. I love poaches eggs, but I haven't had them for quite awhile. Maybe I'll make them for breakfast this weekend :)

Oh yum. My tastebuds have been changing like crazy. Nothing sounds better than a poached egg right now. I can't believe I'm even saying that. Usually I can't even think about salt before noon.
ReplyDeleteI'm currently on a diet...nay..."lifestyle change" and I can't look at your photo without drooling. I. Must. Reset. The. Urge. Of. Bacon. LOL I want to go to NYC for my solo female trip, but it's kinda pricey. If I find myself at NYC, I'll be sure check out The Boathouse! I'll be sure to leave my lifestyle change at the door. LOL Do you have instagram? It's an app. Do you have a smart phone? You should think about getting instagram. It's a way for you to share your photos and your "friends" can "like" or "comment" on it. It's a lot of fun. I like it. I'm alway on it. You should think about getting that app. People take the most random photos. If you do have instagram, let's follow each other. I'm @jen808.
