The Mo'Club

I went to The Mo'Club in Southampton this weekend for a friends birthday party. They advertise themselves as:

Moroller is the fun, friendly and 21st century version of the roller disco.

Pro-skater or beginner - come on in!

Join over 200 skaters at the mother of all roller discos here at The Mo'club - the perfect club for the roller disco.

There are no photos to our fabulous night out and for those of you who are visual addicts like myself, I apologize. I'll keep it brief since there are no pretty pictures. 

In summation: Great idea, poor execution.

Swan Lake

 Swan Lake by the Moscow City Ballet at LightHouse, Poole's Center for the Arts.

 It was fantastic. The principle dancers of the Moscow City Ballet are phenomenal as are several of the soloists. Seriously, when Prince Seigfried went to the lake and met the enchanted girl/swan Odette and fell in love, the choreography was just about heartbreakingly beautiful.

Car Chases and Culture

I visited Beaulieu Palace over the weekend. There's some amazing history there and some really gorgeous cars. There were even some vehicles from the James Bond films. I definitely need the one with the fully automatic/automated machine gun mounted on the back. Oh come on! Like you wouldn't want one too!!

You'll have to forgive my photos. Some are with a camera but others are with my camera phone. If I'm totally honest, I was running around snapping pictures like a super hyper puppy with opposable thumbs. Not a pretty sight.

Oh Sugar!

Thanks to Hannah and the Cupcake Hayatlar I've been bitten by the cupcake bug something awful. When I stumbled on these gems at Waitrose I had to try them. Lemon and lavender cupcake creations, peppermint and chocolate cupcakes, and red velvet whoopie pies. My, oh my. I still haven't come down from the sugar high.

Theatre Geek Critique

Cruising the magazine racks at my local grocery store is a highlight for me while doing the necessary food shopping for the week. I stumbled on these two magazines covering spring/summer 2012 collections, trends, and new fashion happenings. I was immediately drawn in by the pastels just like I was here. Have you guys seen these yet? Have any of you gotten one?

These pictures show you how excited I was to receive and be asked to review Anjolee's diamond stud earrings. I started snapping pictures the second they arrived. I'm a sucker for shiny beautiful things and navigating my way through their site for custom making jewellery couldn't have been easier.
